Sura al-Māʾidah 5:31

فَبَعَثَ ٱللَّـهُ غُرَابًا يَبْحَثُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيُرِيَهُۥ كَيْفَ يُوَٰرِى سَوْءَةَ أَخِيهِ قَالَ يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰٓ أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَٰذَا ٱلْغُرَابِ فَأُوَٰرِىَ سَوْءَةَ أَخِى فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلنَّٰدِمِينَ

fa-baʿatha allāhu ghurāban yabḥathu fī l-arḍi li-yuriyahu kayfa yuwārī sawata akhīhi qalā yāwaylata aʿajaztu an akūna mithla hādhā l-ghurābi fa-uwāriya sawata akhī fa-aṣbaḥa mina l-nādimīna

Then Allah sent a raven, who scratched the ground, to show him how to hide the shame of his brother. "Woe is me!" said he; "Was I not even able to be as this raven, and to hide the shame of my brother?" then he became full of regrets-

Sura al-Anfāl 8:59

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَبَقُوٓا۟ إِنَّهُمْ لَا يُعْجِزُونَ

wa-lā yaḥsabanna lladhīna kafarū sabaqū innahum lā yuʿjizūna

Let not the unbelievers think that they can get the better (of the godly): they will never frustrate (them).

Sura al-Faṭīr 35:44

أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّـهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُۥ مِن شَىْءٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا

a-wa-lam yasīrū fī l-arḍi fa-yanẓurū kayfa kāna ʿāqibatu lladhīna min qablihim wa-kānū ashadda minhum quwwatan wa-mā kāna allāhu li-yuʿjizahu min shayʾin fī l-samāwāti wa-lā fī l-arḍi innahu kāna ʿalīman qadīran

Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them,- though they were superior to them in strength? Nor is Allah to be frustrated by anything whatever in the heavens or on earth: for He is All-Knowing. All-Powerful.

Sura al-Jinn 72:12

وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعْجِزَ ٱللَّـهَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَن نُّعْجِزَهُۥ هَرَبًا

wa-annā ẓanannā an lan nuʿjiza allāha fī l-arḍi wa-lan nuʿjizahu haraban

'But we think that we can by no means frustrate Allah throughout the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight.
