Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah: Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint.
(2:228)

Divorced women shall wait concerning themselves for three monthly periods. Nor is it lawful for them to hide what Allah Hath created in their wombs, if they have faith in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have the better right to take them back in that period, if they wish for reconciliation. And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.
(2:229)

ٱلطَّلَٰقُ  مَرَّتَانِ  فَإِمْسَاكٌۢ  بِمَعْرُوفٍ  أَوْ  تَسْرِيحٌۢ  بِإِحْسَٰنٍ  وَلَا  يَحِلُّ  لَكُمْ  أَن  تَأْخُذُوا۟  مِمَّآ  ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ  شَيْـًٔا  إِلَّآ  أَن  يَخَافَآ  أَلَّا  يُقِيمَا  حُدُودَ  ٱللَّـهِ  فَإِنْ  خِفْتُمْ  أَلَّا  يُقِيمَا  حُدُودَ  ٱللَّـهِ  فَلَا  جُنَاحَ  عَلَيْهِمَا  فِيمَا  ٱفْتَدَتْ  بِهِۦ  تِلْكَ  حُدُودُ  ٱللَّـهِ  فَلَا  تَعْتَدُوهَا  وَمَن  يَتَعَدَّ  حُدُودَ  ٱللَّـهِ  فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  هُمُ  ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ l‑ṭalāqu marratāni faimsākun bi‑maʿrūfin aw tasrīḥun bi‑iḥsānin wa‑lā yaḥillu la‑kum an takhudhū mimmā ātaytumūhunna shayʾan illā an yakhāfā allā yuqīmā ḥudūda allāhi fa‑in khiftum allā yuqīmā ḥudūda allāhi fa‑lā junāḥa ʿalayhimā fī‑mā aftadat bihi tilka ḥudūdu allāhi fa‑lā taʿtadūhā wa‑man yataʿadda ḥudūda allāhi fa‑ūlāʾika humu l‑ẓālimūna
A divorce is only permissible twice: after that, the parties should either hold Together on equitable terms, or separate with kindness. It is not lawful for you, (Men), to take back any of your gifts (from your wives), except when both parties fear that they would be unable to keep the limits ordained by Allah. If ye (judges) do indeed fear that they would be unable to keep the limits ordained by Allah, there is no blame on either of them if she give something for her freedom. These are the limits ordained by Allah; so do not transgress them if any do transgress the limits ordained by Allah, such persons wrong (Themselves as well as others).
(2:230)

فَإِن  طَلَّقَهَا  فَلَا  تَحِلُّ  لَهُۥ  مِنۢ  بَعْدُ  حَتَّىٰ  تَنكِحَ  زَوْجًا  غَيْرَهُۥ  فَإِن  طَلَّقَهَا  فَلَا  جُنَاحَ  عَلَيْهِمَآ  أَن  يَتَرَاجَعَآ  إِن  ظَنَّآ  أَن  يُقِيمَا  حُدُودَ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَتِلْكَ  حُدُودُ  ٱللَّـهِ  يُبَيِّنُهَا  لِقَوْمٍ  يَعْلَمُونَ fa‑in ṭallaqahā fa‑lā taḥillu lahu min baʿdu ḥattā tankiḥa zawjan ghayrahu fa‑in ṭallaqahā fa‑lā junāḥa ʿalayhimā an yatarājaʿā in ẓannā an yuqīmā ḥudūda allāhi wa‑tilka ḥudūdu allāhi yubayyinuhā li‑qawmin yaʿlamūna
So if a husband divorces his wife (irrevocably), He cannot, after that, re-marry her until after she has married another husband and He has divorced her. In that case there is no blame on either of them if they re-unite, provided they feel that they can keep the limits ordained by Allah. Such are the limits ordained by Allah, which He makes plain to those who understand.

Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Evil one by his touch Hath driven to madness. That is because they say: "Trade is like usury," but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (The offence) are companions of the Fire: They will abide therein (for ever).

O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may Take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and Allah brings about through it a great deal of good.

(Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).

"Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."

Surah 9 al-Tawbah (Repentance)

Verily the transposing (of a prohibited month) is an addition to Unbelief: the Unbelievers are led to wrong thereby: for they make it lawful one year, and forbidden another year, in order to adjust the number of months forbidden by Allah and make such forbidden ones lawful. The evil of their course seems pleasing to them. But Allah guideth not those who reject Faith.

Surah 11 Hūd (Hud)

"But soon will ye know who it is on whom will descend a penalty that will cover them with shame,- on whom will be unloosed a penalty lasting:"

Surah 13 al-Raʿd (The Thunder)
(13:31)

وَلَوْ  أَنَّ  قُرْءَانًا  سُيِّرَتْ  بِهِ  ٱلْجِبَالُ  أَوْ  قُطِّعَتْ  بِهِ  ٱلْأَرْضُ  أَوْ  كُلِّمَ  بِهِ  ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ  بَل  لِلَّـهِ  ٱلْأَمْرُ  جَمِيعًا  أَفَلَمْ  يَا۟يْـَٔسِ  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوٓا۟  أَن  لَّوْ  يَشَآءُ  ٱللَّـهُ  لَهَدَى  ٱلنَّاسَ  جَمِيعًا  وَلَا  يَزَالُ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوا۟  تُصِيبُهُم  بِمَا  صَنَعُوا۟  قَارِعَةٌ  أَوْ  تَحُلُّ  قَرِيبًا  مِّن  دَارِهِمْ  حَتَّىٰ  يَأْتِىَ  وَعْدُ  ٱللَّـهِ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  لَا  يُخْلِفُ  ٱلْمِيعَادَ wa‑law annā qurʾānan suyyirat bihi l‑jibālu aw quṭṭiʿaṭ bihi l‑arḍu aw kullima bihi l‑mawtā bal lillāhi l‑amru jamīʿan a‑fa‑lam yāyʾasi lladhīna āmanū an law yashāʾu allāhu la‑hadā l‑nāsa jamīʿan wa‑lā yazālu lladhīna kafarū tuṣībuhum bi‑mā ṣanaʿū qāriʿatun aw taḥullu qarīban min dārihim ḥattā yaʾtiya waʿdu allāhi inna allāha yukhlifu l‑mīʿāda
If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise.

Surah 14 Ibrāhīm (Abraham)
(14:28)

أَلَمْ  تَرَ  إِلَى  ٱلَّذِينَ  بَدَّلُوا۟  نِعْمَتَ  ٱللَّـهِ  كُفْرًا  وَأَحَلُّوا۟  قَوْمَهُمْ  دَارَ  ٱلْبَوَارِ a‑lam tara ilā lladhīna baddalū niʿmata allāhi kufran wa‑aḥallū qawmahum dāra l‑bawāri
Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favour of Allah. Into blasphemy and caused their people to descend to the House of Perdition?-

Surah 20 Ṭā Hā (Ta-Ha)
(20:81)

كُلُوا۟  مِن  طَيِّبَٰتِ  مَا  رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ  وَلَا  تَطْغَوْا۟  فِيهِ  فَيَحِلَّ  عَلَيْكُمْ  غَضَبِى  وَمَن  يَحْلِلْ  عَلَيْهِ  غَضَبِى  فَقَدْ  هَوَىٰ kulū min ṭayyibāti razaqnākum wa‑lā taṭghaw fīhi fa‑yaḥilla ʿalaykum ghaḍabī wa‑man yaḥlil ʿalayhi ghaḍabī fa‑qad hawā
(Saying): "Eat of the good things We have provided for your sustenance, but commit no excess therein, lest My Wrath should justly descend on you: and those on whom descends My Wrath do perish indeed!
(20:86)

فَرَجَعَ  مُوسَىٰٓ  إِلَىٰ  قَوْمِهِۦ  غَضْبَٰنَ  أَسِفًا  قَالَ  يَٰقَوْمِ  أَلَمْ  يَعِدْكُمْ  رَبُّكُمْ  وَعْدًا  حَسَنًا  أَفَطَالَ  عَلَيْكُمُ  ٱلْعَهْدُ  أَمْ  أَرَدتُّمْ  أَن  يَحِلَّ  عَلَيْكُمْ  غَضَبٌ  مِّن  رَّبِّكُمْ  فَأَخْلَفْتُم  مَّوْعِدِى fa‑rajaʿa mūsā ilā qawmihi ghaḍbāna asifan qalā yā‑qawmi a‑lam yaʿidkum rabbukum waʿdan ḥasanan afaṭāla ʿalaykumu l‑ʿahdu am aradttum an yaḥilla ʿalaykum ghaḍabun min rabbikum fa‑akhlaftum mawʿidī
So Moses returned to his people in a state of indignation and sorrow. He said: "O my people! did not your Lord make a handsome promise to you? Did then the promise seem to you long (in coming)? Or did ye desire that Wrath should descend from your Lord on you, and so ye broke your promise to me?"

Surah 22 al-Ḥajj (The Pilgrimage)
(22:30)

ذَٰلِكَ  وَمَن  يُعَظِّمْ  حُرُمَٰتِ  ٱللَّـهِ  فَهُوَ  خَيْرٌ  لَّهُۥ  عِندَ  رَبِّهِۦ  وَأُحِلَّتْ  لَكُمُ  ٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ  إِلَّا  مَا  يُتْلَىٰ  عَلَيْكُمْ  فَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟  ٱلرِّجْسَ  مِنَ  ٱلْأَوْثَٰنِ  وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟  قَوْلَ  ٱلزُّورِ dhālika wa‑man yuʿaẓẓim ḥurumāti allāhi fa‑huwa khayrun lahu ʿinda rabbihi wa‑uḥillat lakumu l‑anʿāmu illā yutlā ʿalaykum fa‑ijtanibū l‑rijsa mina l‑awthāni wa‑ijtanibū qawla l‑zūri
Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of Allah, for him it is good in the Sight of his Lord. Lawful to you (for food in Pilgrimage) are cattle, except those mentioned to you (as exception): but shun the abomination of idols, and shun the word that is false,-

Surah 33 al-Aḥzāb (The Allies)
(33:52)

لَّا  يَحِلُّ  لَكَ  ٱلنِّسَآءُ  مِنۢ  بَعْدُ  وَلَآ  أَن  تَبَدَّلَ  بِهِنَّ  مِنْ  أَزْوَٰجٍ  وَلَوْ  أَعْجَبَكَ  حُسْنُهُنَّ  إِلَّا  مَا  مَلَكَتْ  يَمِينُكَ  وَكَانَ  ٱللَّـهُ  عَلَىٰ  كُلِّ  شَىْءٍ  رَّقِيبًا yaḥillu la‑ka l‑nisāu min baʿdu wa‑lā an tabaddala bihinna min azwājin wa‑law aʿjabaka ḥusnuhunna illā malakat yamīnuka wa‑kāna allāhu ʿalā kulli shayʾin rraqīban
It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this, nor to change them for (other) wives, even though their beauty attract thee, except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and Allah doth watch over all things.

Surah 35 al-Faṭīr (The Creator)
(35:35)

"Who has, out of His Bounty, settled us in a Home that will last: no toil nor sense of weariness shall touch us therein."

Surah 39 al-Zumar (The Companies)
(39:40)

مَن  يَأْتِيهِ  عَذَابٌ  يُخْزِيهِ  وَيَحِلُّ  عَلَيْهِ  عَذَابٌ  مُّقِيمٌ man yaʾtīhi ʿadhābun yukhzīhi wa‑yaḥillu ʿalayhi ʿadhābun muqīmun
"Who it is to whom comes a Penalty of ignominy, and on whom descends a Penalty that abides."

Surah 60 al-Mumtaḥanah (She Who is Tested)
(60:10)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوٓا۟  إِذَا  جَآءَكُمُ  ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ  مُهَٰجِرَٰتٍ  فَٱمْتَحِنُوهُنَّ  ٱللَّـهُ  أَعْلَمُ  بِإِيمَٰنِهِنَّ  فَإِنْ  عَلِمْتُمُوهُنَّ  مُؤْمِنَٰتٍ  فَلَا  تَرْجِعُوهُنَّ  إِلَى  ٱلْكُفَّارِ  لَا  هُنَّ  حِلٌّ  لَّهُمْ  وَلَا  هُمْ  يَحِلُّونَ  لَهُنَّ  وَءَاتُوهُم  مَّآ  أَنفَقُوا۟  وَلَا  جُنَاحَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  أَن  تَنكِحُوهُنَّ  إِذَآ  ءَاتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ  أُجُورَهُنَّ  وَلَا  تُمْسِكُوا۟  بِعِصَمِ  ٱلْكَوَافِرِ  وَسْـَٔلُوا۟  مَآ  أَنفَقْتُمْ  وَلْيَسْـَٔلُوا۟  مَآ  أَنفَقُوا۟  ذَٰلِكُمْ  حُكْمُ  ٱللَّـهِ  يَحْكُمُ  بَيْنَكُمْ  وَٱللَّـهُ  عَلِيمٌ  حَكِيمٌ yā‑ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū idhā jāakumu l‑muʾminātu muhājirātin famtaḥinūhunna allāhu aʿlamu biīmānihinna fa‑in ʿalimtumūhunna muminatin fa‑lā tarjiʿūhunna ilā l‑kuffāri hunna ḥillun lahum wa‑lā hum yaḥillūna la‑hunna wa‑ātūhum anfaqū wa‑lā junāḥa ʿalaykum an tankiḥūhunna idhā ātaytumūhunna ujūrahunna wa‑lā tumsikū biʿiṣami l‑kawāfiri wa‑salū anfaqtum wa‑l‑yasʾalū anfaqū dhālikum ḥukmu allāhi yaḥkumu baynakum wallāhu ʿalīmun ḥakīmun
O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

Surah 66 al-Taḥrīm (The Prohibition)
(66:1)

O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
