Surah 8 al-Anfāl (The Spoils of War)

(8:50)	وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَٰرَهُمْ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ	wa‑law tara idh yatawaffā lladhīna kafarū l‑malāʾikatu yaḍribūna wujūhahum wa‑adbārahum wa‑dhūqū ʿadhāba l‑ḥarīqi	If thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire- Sura al-Anfāl 8:50 وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَٰرَهُمْ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ wa-law tara idh yatawaffā lladhīna kafarū l-malāʾikatu yaḍribūna wujūhahum wa-adbārahum wa-dhūqū ʿadhāba l-ḥarīqi If thou couldst see, when the angels take the souls of the Unbelievers (at death), (How) they smite their faces and their backs, (saying): "Taste the penalty of the blazing Fire-
