Surah 2 al-Baqara (The Cow)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(2:19)

أَوْ  كَصَيِّبٍ  مِّنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  فِيهِ  ظُلُمَٰتٌ  وَرَعْدٌ  وَبَرْقٌ  يَجْعَلُونَ  أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ  فِىٓ  ءَاذَانِهِم  مِّنَ  ٱلصَّوَٰعِقِ  حَذَرَ  ٱلْمَوْتِ  وَٱللَّـهُ  مُحِيطٌۢ  بِٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ aw kaṣayyibin mina l‑samāʾi fīhi ẓulumātun wa‑raʿdun wa‑barqun yajʿalūna aṣābiʿahum ādhānihim mina l‑ṣawāʿiqi ḥadhara l‑mawti wallāhu muḥīṭun bil‑kāfirīna
Or (another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky: In it are zones of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap, the while they are in terror of death. But Allah is ever round the rejecters of Faith!

Surah 11 Hūd (Hud)
(11:81)

قَالُوا۟  يَٰلُوطُ  إِنَّا  رُسُلُ  رَبِّكَ  لَن  يَصِلُوٓا۟  إِلَيْكَ  فَأَسْرِ  بِأَهْلِكَ  بِقِطْعٍ  مِّنَ  ٱلَّيْلِ  وَلَا  يَلْتَفِتْ  مِنكُمْ  أَحَدٌ  إِلَّا  ٱمْرَأَتَكَ  إِنَّهُۥ  مُصِيبُهَا  مَآ  أَصَابَهُمْ  إِنَّ  مَوْعِدَهُمُ  ٱلصُّبْحُ  أَلَيْسَ  ٱلصُّبْحُ  بِقَرِيبٍ qālū yālūṭu innā rusulu rabbika lan yaṣilū ilayka fa‑asri bi‑ahlika bi‑qiṭʿin mina l‑layli wa‑lā yaltafit minkum aḥadun illā imraʾataka innahu muṣībuhā aṣābahum inna mawʿidahumu l‑ṣubḥu a‑laysa l‑ṣubḥu bi‑qarībin
(The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?"

Surah 78 al-Nabaʾ (The Tidings)
(78:38)

يَوْمَ  يَقُومُ  ٱلرُّوحُ  وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ  صَفًّا  لَّا  يَتَكَلَّمُونَ  إِلَّا  مَنْ  أَذِنَ  لَهُ  ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ  وَقَالَ  صَوَابًا yawma yaqūmu l‑rūḥu wa‑l‑malāʾikatu ṣaffan yatakallamūna illā man adhina lahu l‑raḥmānu wa‑qāla ṣawāban
The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by (Allah) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right.
