Sura Yūsuf 12:5

قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ لَا تَقْصُصْ رُءْيَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ إِخْوَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُوا۟ لَكَ كَيْدًا إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ لِلْإِنسَٰنِ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ

qalā yā-bunayya lā taqṣuṣ ruʾyāka ʿala ikhwatika fa-yakīdū la-ka kaydan inna l-shayṭāna lil-insāni ʿaduwwun mubīnun

Said (the father): "My (dear) little son! relate not thy vision to thy brothers, lest they concoct a plot against thee: for Satan is to man an avowed enemy!

Sura Yūsuf 12:67

وَقَالَ يَٰبَنِىَّ لَا تَدْخُلُوا۟ مِنۢ بَابٍ وَٰحِدٍ وَٱدْخُلُوا۟ مِنْ أَبْوَٰبٍ مُّتَفَرِّقَةٍ وَمَآ أُغْنِى عَنكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنِ ٱلْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّـهِ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ

wa-qāla yā-baniyya lā tadkhulū min bābin wāḥidin wa-adkhulū min abwābin mutafarriqatin wa-mā ughnī ʿankum mina allāhi min shayʾin ini l-ḥukmu illā lillāhi ʿalayhi tawakkaltu wa-ʿalayhi fa-l-yatawakkali l-mutawakkilūna

Further he said: "O my sons! enter not all by one gate: enter ye by different gates. Not that I can profit you aught against Allah (with my advice): None can command except Allah: On Him do I put my trust: and let all that trust put their trust on Him."

Sura Yūsuf 12:81

ٱرْجِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِيكُمْ فَقُولُوا۟ يَٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّ ٱبْنَكَ سَرَقَ وَمَا شَهِدْنَآ إِلَّا بِمَا عَلِمْنَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِلْغَيْبِ حَٰفِظِينَ

irjiʿū ila abīkum fa-qūlū yāabānā inna ibnaka saraqa wa-mā shahidnā illā bi-mā ʿalimnā wa-mā kunnā lil-ghaybi ḥāfiẓīna

"Turn ye back to your father, and say, 'O our father! behold! thy son committed theft! we bear witness only to what we know, and we could not well guard against the unseen!

Sura Yūsuf 12:87

يَٰبَنِىَّ ٱذْهَبُوا۟ فَتَحَسَّسُوا۟ مِن يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَا۟يْـَٔسُوا۟ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّـهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يَا۟يْـَٔسُ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّـهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ

yā-baniyya idhhabū fa-taḥassasū min yūsufa wa-akhīhi wa-lā tāyasū min rrawḥi allāhi innahu lā yāyasu min rrawḥi allāhi illā l-qawmu l-kāfirūna

"O my sons! go ye and enquire about Joseph and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah's Soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of Allah's Soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith."
