Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:15

وَٱلَّٰتِى يَأْتِينَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ مِن نِّسَآئِكُمْ فَٱسْتَشْهِدُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةً مِّنكُمْ فَإِن شَهِدُوا۟ فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ فِى ٱلْبُيُوتِ حَتَّىٰ يَتَوَفَّىٰهُنَّ ٱلْمَوْتُ أَوْ يَجْعَلَ ٱللَّـهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا

wa-allātī yaʾtīna l-fāḥishata min nasāʾikum fa-istashhidū ʿalayhinna arbaʿatan minkum fa-in shahidū fa-amsikūhunna fī l-buyūti ḥattā yatawaffahunna l-mawtu aw yajʿala allāhu la-hunna sabīlan

If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, Take the evidence of four (Reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some (other) way.

Sura al-Naml 27:52

فَتِلْكَ بُيُوتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةًۢ بِمَا ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

fatilka buyūtuhum khāwiyatan bi-mā ẓalamū inna fī dhālika la-āyatan li-qawmin yaʿlamūna

Now such were their houses, - in utter ruin, - because they practised wrong-doing. Verily in this is a Sign for people of knowledge.

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:41

مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ كَمَثَلِ ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ ٱتَّخَذَتْ بَيْتًا وَإِنَّ أَوْهَنَ ٱلْبُيُوتِ لَبَيْتُ ٱلْعَنكَبُوتِ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ

mathalu lladhīna ittakhadhū min dūni allāhi awliyāʾa ka-mathali l-ʿankabūti ittakhadhat baytan wa-inna awhana l-buyūti la-baytu l-ʿankabūti law kānū yaʿlamūna

The parable of those who take protectors other than Allah is that of the spider, who builds (to itself) a house; but truly the flimsiest of houses is the spider's house;- if they but knew.

Sura al-Zukhruf 43:33

وَلَوْلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً لَّجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ

wa-lawlā an yakūna l-nāsu ummatan wāḥidatan llajaʿalnā li-man yakfuru bil-raḥmāni li-buyūtihim suqufan min fiḍḍatin wa-maʿārija ʿalayhā yaẓharūna

And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life, We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes against (Allah) Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up,

Sura al-Zukhruf 43:34

وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَٰبًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِـُٔونَ

wa-li-buyūtihim abwāban wa-sururan ʿalayhā yattakiʾūna

And (silver) doors to their houses, and thrones (of silver) on which they could recline,

Sura al-Ḥashr 59:2

هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمْ لِأَوَّلِ ٱلْحَشْرِ مَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن يَخْرُجُوا۟ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوا۟ وَقَذَفَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعْبَ يُخْرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَيْدِى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَٱعْتَبِرُوا۟ يَٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ

huwa alladhī akhraja lladhīna kafarū min ahli l-kitābi min diyārihim liawwali l-ḥashri mā ẓanantum an yakhrujū wa-ẓannū annahum māniʿatuhum ḥuṣūnuhum mina allāhi faatahumu allāhu min ḥaythu lam yaḥtasibū wa-qadhafa fī qulūbihimu l-ruʿba yukhribūna buyūtahum bi-aydīhim wa-aydī l-muʾminīna faʿtabirū yā-ūlī l-abṣāri

It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)!

Sura al-Ṭalāq 65:1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا۟ ٱلْعِدَّةَ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ رَبَّكُمْ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنۢ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأْتِينَ بِفَٰحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ ٱللَّـهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُۥ لَا تَدْرِى لَعَلَّ ٱللَّـهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ أَمْرًا

yā-ayyuhā l-nabiyyu idhā ṭallaqtumu l-nisāʾa fa-ṭalliqūhunna li-ʿiddatihinna wa-aḥṣū l-ʿiddata wa-ittaqū allāha rabbakum lā tukhrijūhunna min buyūtihinna wa-lā yakhrujna illā an yaʾtīna bi-fāḥishatin mubayyinatin wa-tilka ḥudūdu allāhi wa-man yataʿadda ḥudūda allāhi fa-qad ẓalama nafsahu lā tadrī laʿalla allāha yuḥdithu baʿda dhālika amran

O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.
