Surah 27 al-Naml (The Ant)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(27:62)

أَمَّن  يُجِيبُ  ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ  إِذَا  دَعَاهُ  وَيَكْشِفُ  ٱلسُّوٓءَ  وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ  خُلَفَآءَ  ٱلْأَرْضِ  أَءِلَٰهٌ  مَّعَ  ٱللَّـهِ  قَلِيلًا  مَّا  تَذَكَّرُونَ a‑man yujību l‑muḍṭarra idhā daʿāhu wa‑yakshifu l‑sūa wa‑yajʿalukum khulafāʾa l‑arḍi a‑ilāhun maʿa allāhi qalīlan tadhakkarūna
Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Little it is that ye heed!
(27:80)

إِنَّكَ  لَا  تُسْمِعُ  ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ  وَلَا  تُسْمِعُ  ٱلصُّمَّ  ٱلدُّعَآءَ  إِذَا  وَلَّوْا۟  مُدْبِرِينَ innaka tusmiʿu l‑mawtā wa‑lā tusmiʿu l‑ṣumma l‑duʿāʾa idhā wallaw mudbirīna
Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat.
