Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded)

(41:11)

ثُمَّ  ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ  إِلَى  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  وَهِىَ  دُخَانٌ  فَقَالَ  لَهَا  وَلِلْأَرْضِ  ٱئْتِيَا  طَوْعًا  أَوْ  كَرْهًا  قَالَتَآ  أَتَيْنَا  طَآئِعِينَ thumma istawā ilā l‑samāʾi wahiya dukhānun fa‑qāla lahā wa‑lil‑arḍi iʾtiyā ṭawʿan aw karhan qālatā ataynā ṭāʾiʿīna
Moreover He comprehended in His design the sky, and it had been (as) smoke: He said to it and to the earth: "Come ye together, willingly or unwillingly." They said: "We do come (together), in willing obedience."

Surah 44 al-Dukhān (The Evident Smoke)
(44:10)

فَٱرْتَقِبْ  يَوْمَ  تَأْتِى  ٱلسَّمَآءُ  بِدُخَانٍ  مُّبِينٍ fa‑irtaqib yawma tatī l‑samāʾu bi‑dukhānin mubīnin
Then watch thou for the Day that the sky will bring forth a kind of smoke (or mist) plainly visible,
