Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:31

وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

wa-jaʿalnā fī l-arḍi rawāsiya an tamīda bihim wa-jaʿalnā fīhā fijājan subulan la-ʿallahum yahtadūna

And We have set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with them, and We have made therein broad highways (between mountains) for them to pass through: that they may receive Guidance.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:27

وَأَذِّن فِى ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ

wa-adhdhin fī l-nāsi bil-ḥajji yaʾtūka rijālan wa-ʿalā kulli ḍāmirin yaʾtīna min kulli fajjin ʿamīqin

"And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;
