Sura al-Naḥl 16:58

وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ

wa-idhā bushshira aḥaduhum bil-untha ẓalla wajhuhu muswaddan wa-huwa kaẓīmun

When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief!
