Sura al-Ḥadīd 57:2

لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

lahu mulku l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi yuḥyi wa-yumītu wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun

To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: It is He Who gives Life and Death; and He has Power over all things.

Sura al-Ḥadīd 57:3

هُوَ ٱلْأَوَّلُ وَٱلْأخِرُ وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ وَٱلْبَاطِنُ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

huwa l-awwalu wa-l-akhiru wa-l-ẓāhiru wa-l-bāṭinu wa-huwa bi-kulli shayʾin ʿalīmun

He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent: and He has full knowledge of all things.

Sura al-Ḥadīd 57:10

وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تُنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ وَلِلَّەِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَا يَسْتَوِى مِنكُم مَّنْ أَنفَقَ مِن قَبْلِ ٱلْفَتْحِ وَقَٰتَلَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدُ وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

wa-mā la-kum allā tunfiqū fī sabīli allāhi wa-lillahi mīrāthu l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi lā yastawī minkum man anfaqa min qabli l-fatḥi wa-qātala ulāʾika aʿẓamu darajatan mina lladhīna anfaqū min baʿdu wa-qātalū wa-kullan waʿada allāhu l-ḥusnā wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīrun

And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.

Sura al-Ḥadīd 57:23

لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ وَٱللَّـهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

llikaylā tasaw ʿalā mā fātakum wa-lā tafraḥū bimā ātakum wallāhu lā yuḥibbu kulla mukhtālin fakhūrin

In order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by, nor exult over favours bestowed upon you. For Allah loveth not any vainglorious boaster,-
