قُلْ  أَغَيْرَ  ٱللَّـهِ  أَتَّخِذُ  وَلِيًّا  فَاطِرِ  ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  وَهُوَ  يُطْعِمُ  وَلَا  يُطْعَمُ  قُلْ  إِنِّىٓ  أُمِرْتُ  أَنْ  أَكُونَ  أَوَّلَ  مَنْ  أَسْلَمَ  وَلَا  تَكُونَنَّ  مِنَ  ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ qul aghayra allāhi attakhidhu waliyyan fāṭiri l‑samāwāti wa‑l‑arḍi wa‑huwa yuṭʿimu wa‑lā yuṭʿamu qul innī umirtu an akūna awwala man aslama wa‑lā takūnanna mina l‑mushrikīna
Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed." Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah."
(6:40)

قُلْ  أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ  إِنْ  أَتَىٰكُمْ  عَذَابُ  ٱللَّـهِ  أَوْ  أَتَتْكُمُ  ٱلسَّاعَةُ  أَغَيْرَ  ٱللَّـهِ  تَدْعُونَ  إِن  كُنتُمْ  صَٰدِقِينَ qul a‑raʾaytakum in atakum ʿadhābu allāhi aw atatkumu l‑sāʿatu aghayra allāhi tadʿūna in kuntum ṣādiqīna
Say: "Think ye to yourselves, if there come upon you the wrath of Allah, or the Hour (that ye dread), would ye then call upon other than Allah?- (reply) if ye are truthful!
(6:143)

ثَمَٰنِيَةَ  أَزْوَٰجٍ  مِّنَ  ٱلضَّأْنِ  ٱثْنَيْنِ  وَمِنَ  ٱلْمَعْزِ  ٱثْنَيْنِ  قُلْ  ءَآلذَّكَرَيْنِ  حَرَّمَ  أَمِ  ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ  أَمَّا  ٱشْتَمَلَتْ  عَلَيْهِ  أَرْحَامُ  ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ  نَبِّـُٔونِى  بِعِلْمٍ  إِن  كُنتُمْ  صَٰدِقِينَ thamāniyata azwājin mina l‑ḍani ithnayni wa‑mina l‑maʿzi ithnayni qul ā‑l‑dhakarayni ḥarrama ami l‑unthayayni a‑mā ishtamalat ʿalayhi arḥāmu l‑unthayayni nabbiʾunī bi‑ʿilmin in kuntum ṣādiqīna
(Take) eight (head of cattle) in (four) pairs: of sheep a pair, and of goats a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? Tell me with knowledge if ye are truthful:
(6:144)

وَمِنَ  ٱلْإِبِلِ  ٱثْنَيْنِ  وَمِنَ  ٱلْبَقَرِ  ٱثْنَيْنِ  قُلْ  ءَآلذَّكَرَيْنِ  حَرَّمَ  أَمِ  ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ  أَمَّا  ٱشْتَمَلَتْ  عَلَيْهِ  أَرْحَامُ  ٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ  أَمْ  كُنتُمْ  شُهَدَآءَ  إِذْ  وَصَّىٰكُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  بِهَٰذَا  فَمَنْ  أَظْلَمُ  مِمَّنِ  ٱفْتَرَىٰ  عَلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  كَذِبًا  لِّيُضِلَّ  ٱلنَّاسَ  بِغَيْرِ  عِلْمٍ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  لَا  يَهْدِى  ٱلْقَوْمَ  ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ wa‑mina l‑ibili ithnayni wa‑mina l‑baqari ithnayni qul ā‑l‑dhakarayni ḥarrama ami l‑unthayayni a‑mā ishtamalat ʿalayhi arḥāmu l‑unthayayni am kuntum shuhadāʾa idh waṣṣakumu allāhu bi‑hādhā fa‑man aẓlamu mimmani iftarā ʿalā allāhi kadhiban li‑yuḍilla l‑nāsa bi‑ghayri ʿilmin inna allāha yahdī l‑qawma l‑ẓālimīna
Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? - Were ye present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who doth more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead astray men without knowledge? For Allah guideth not people who do wrong.
(6:164)

قُلْ  أَغَيْرَ  ٱللَّـهِ  أَبْغِى  رَبًّا  وَهُوَ  رَبُّ  كُلِّ  شَىْءٍ  وَلَا  تَكْسِبُ  كُلُّ  نَفْسٍ  إِلَّا  عَلَيْهَا  وَلَا  تَزِرُ  وَازِرَةٌ  وِزْرَ  أُخْرَىٰ  ثُمَّ  إِلَىٰ  رَبِّكُم  مَّرْجِعُكُمْ  فَيُنَبِّئُكُم  بِمَا  كُنتُمْ  فِيهِ  تَخْتَلِفُونَ qul aghayra allāhi abghī rabban wa‑huwa rabbu kulli shayʾin wa‑lā taksibu kullu nafsin illā ʿalayhā wa‑lā taziru wāziratun wizra ukhrā thumma ilā rabbikum marjiʿukum fa‑yunabbiʾukum bi‑mā kuntum fīhi takhtalifūna
Say: "Shall I seek for (my) Cherisher other than Allah, when He is the Cherisher of all things (that exist)? Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is towards Allah: He will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed."

Surah 9 al-Tawbah (Repentance)

If thou dost question them, they declare (with emphasis): "We were only talking idly and in play." Say: "Was it at Allah, and His Signs, and His Messenger, that ye were mocking?"

Surah 10 Yūnus (Jonah)
(10:2)

أَكَانَ  لِلنَّاسِ  عَجَبًا  أَنْ  أَوْحَيْنَآ  إِلَىٰ  رَجُلٍ  مِّنْهُمْ  أَنْ  أَنذِرِ  ٱلنَّاسَ  وَبَشِّرِ  ٱلَّذِينَ  ءَامَنُوٓا۟  أَنَّ  لَهُمْ  قَدَمَ  صِدْقٍ  عِندَ  رَبِّهِمْ  قَالَ  ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ  إِنَّ  هَٰذَا  لَسَٰحِرٌ  مُّبِينٌ akāna lil‑nāsi ʿajaban an awḥaynā ilā rajulin minhum an andhiri l‑nāsa wa‑bashshiri lladhīna āmanū annā lahum qadama ṣidqin ʿinda rabbihim qalā l‑kāfirūna inna hādhā la‑sāḥirun mubīnun
Is it a matter of wonderment to men that We have sent Our inspiration to a man from among themselves?- that he should warn mankind (of their danger), and give the good news to the Believers that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. (But) say the Unbelievers: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer!"

Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded)

Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!"
