Surah 21 al-Anbiyāʾ (The Prophets)

(21:41)    | وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ | wa‑la‑qadi ustuhziʾa birusulin min qablika fa‑ḥāqa bi‑lladhīna sakhirū minhum mā kānū bihi yastahziʾūna | Mocked were (many) messenger before thee; But their scoffers
were hemmed in by the thing that they mocked.
