Surah 29 al-ʿAnkabūt (The Spider)

(29:31)    | وَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مُهْلِكُوٓا۟ أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ | wa‑lammā jāʾat rusulunā ibrāhīma bil‑bushra qālū innā muhlikū ahli hādhihi l‑qaryati inna ahlahā kānū ẓālimīna | When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they
said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for
truly they are (addicted to) crime."
Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:31 وَلَمَّا جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مُهْلِكُوٓا۟ أَهْلِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ wa-lammā jāʾat rusulunā ibrāhīma bil-bushra qālū innā muhlikū ahli hādhihi l-qaryati inna ahlahā kānū ẓālimīna When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: "We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime." |
