Sura Sabaʾ 34:45

وَكَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا بَلَغُوا۟ مِعْشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوا۟ رُسُلِى فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

wa-kadhdhaba lladhīna min qablihim wa-mā balaghū miʿshāra mā ātaynāhum fa-kadhdhabū rusulī fa-kayfa kāna nakīri

And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!
