Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded)

(41:48)    | وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَدْعُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَظَنُّوا۟ مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ | wa‑ḍalla ʿanhum mā kānū yadʿūna min qablu wa‑ẓannū mā lahum min maḥīṣin | The (deities) they used to invoke aforetime will leave them in
the lurch, and they will perceive that they have no way of escape.
Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:48 وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَدْعُونَ مِن قَبْلُ وَظَنُّوا۟ مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٍ wa-ḍalla ʿanhum mā kānū yadʿūna min qablu wa-ẓannū mā lahum min maḥīṣin The (deities) they used to invoke aforetime will leave them in the lurch, and they will perceive that they have no way of escape. |
