Surah 6 al-Anʿām (The Cattle)

(6:23)    | ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُن فِتْنَتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ وَٱللَّـهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشْرِكِينَ | thumma lam takun fitnatuhum illā an qālū wallāhi rabbinā mā kunnā mushrikīna | There will then be (left) no subterfuge for them but to say:
"By Allah our Lord, we were not those who joined gods with Allah."
