Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)

(7:166)    | فَلَمَّا عَتَوْا۟ عَن مَّا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ قُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُوا۟ قِرَدَةً خَٰسِـِٔينَ | fa‑lammā ʿataw ʿan mā nuhū ʿanhu qulnā lahum kūnū qiradatan khāsiʾīna | When in their insolence they transgressed (all) prohibitions,
We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected."
