Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:14

زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ مِنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ وَٱلْبَنِينَ وَٱلْقَنَٰطِيرِ ٱلْمُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ ٱلذَّهَبِ وَٱلْفِضَّةِ وَٱلْخَيْلِ ٱلْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ وَٱلْحَرْثِ ذَٰلِكَ مَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱللَّـهُ عِندَهُۥ حُسْنُ ٱلْمَـَٔابِ

zuyyina lil-nāsi ḥubbu l-shahawāti mina l-nisāʾi wa-l-banīna wa-l-qanāṭīri l-muqanṭarati mina l-dhahabi wa-l-fiḍḍati wa-l-khayli l-musawwamati wa-l-anʿāmi wa-l-ḥarthi dhālika matāʿu l-ḥayāti l-dunyā wallāhu ʿindahu ḥusnu l-maābi

Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; Heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this world's life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (To return to).
