Surah 2 al-Baqara (The Cow)

(2:119)

إِنَّآ  أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ  بِٱلْحَقِّ  بَشِيرًا  وَنَذِيرًا  وَلَا  تُسْـَٔلُ  عَنْ  أَصْحَٰبِ  ٱلْجَحِيمِ innā arsalnāka bil‑ḥaqqi bashīran wa‑nadhīran wa‑lā tusʾalu ʿan aṣḥābi l‑jaḥīmi
Verily We have sent thee in truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: But of thee no question shall be asked of the Companions of the Blazing Fire.

Surah 5 al-Māʾidah (The Table Spread)
(5:19)

يَٰٓأَهْلَ  ٱلْكِتَٰبِ  قَدْ  جَآءَكُمْ  رَسُولُنَا  يُبَيِّنُ  لَكُمْ  عَلَىٰ  فَتْرَةٍ  مِّنَ  ٱلرُّسُلِ  أَن  تَقُولُوا۟  مَا  جَآءَنَا  مِنۢ  بَشِيرٍ  وَلَا  نَذِيرٍ  فَقَدْ  جَآءَكُم  بَشِيرٌ  وَنَذِيرٌ  وَٱللَّـهُ  عَلَىٰ  كُلِّ  شَىْءٍ  قَدِيرٌ yāʾahla l‑kitābi qad jāʾakum rasūlunā yubayyinu la‑kum ʿalā fatratin mina l‑rusuli an taqūlū jāʾanā min bashīrin wa‑lā nadhīrin fa‑qad jāʾakum bashīrun wa‑nadhīrun wallāhu ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun
O People of the Book! Now hath come unto you, making (things) clear unto you, Our Messenger, after the break in (the series of) our messengers, lest ye should say: "There came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no warner (from evil)": But now hath come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a warner (from evil). And Allah hath power over all things.

Surah 17 al-Isrāʾ (The Children of Israel)
(17:105)

وَبِٱلْحَقِّ  أَنزَلْنَٰهُ  وَبِٱلْحَقِّ  نَزَلَ  وَمَآ  أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ  إِلَّا  مُبَشِّرًا  وَنَذِيرًا wa‑bil‑ḥaqqi anzalnāhu wa‑bil‑ḥaqqi nazala wa‑mā arsalnāka illā mubashshiran wa‑nadhīran
We sent down the (Qur'an) in Truth, and in Truth has it descended: and We sent thee but to give Glad Tidings and to warn (sinners).

Surah 25 al-Furqān (The Criterion)
(25:56)

وَمَآ  أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ  إِلَّا  مُبَشِّرًا  وَنَذِيرًا wa‑mā arsalnāka illā mubashshiran wa‑nadhīran
But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition.

Surah 33 al-Aḥzāb (The Allies)
(33:45)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلنَّبِىُّ  إِنَّآ  أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ  شَٰهِدًا  وَمُبَشِّرًا  وَنَذِيرًا yā‑ayyuhā l‑nabiyyu innā arsalnāka shāhidan wa‑mubashshiran wa‑nadhīran
O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner,-

Surah 34 Sabaʾ (Sheba)
(34:28)

وَمَآ  أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ  إِلَّا  كَآفَّةً  لِّلنَّاسِ  بَشِيرًا  وَنَذِيرًا  وَلَٰكِنَّ  أَكْثَرَ  ٱلنَّاسِ  لَا  يَعْلَمُونَ wa‑mā arsalnāka illā kāffatan lil‑nāsi bashīran wa‑nadhīran wa‑lākinna akthara l‑nāsi yaʿlamūna
We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not.

Surah 35 al-Faṭīr (The Creator)
(35:24)

إِنَّآ  أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ  بِٱلْحَقِّ  بَشِيرًا  وَنَذِيرًا  وَإِن  مِّنْ  أُمَّةٍ  إِلَّا  خَلَا  فِيهَا  نَذِيرٌ innā arsalnāka bil‑ḥaqqi bashīran wa‑nadhīran wa‑in min ummatin illā khalā fīhā nadhīrun
Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past).

Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded)
(41:4)

بَشِيرًا  وَنَذِيرًا  فَأَعْرَضَ  أَكْثَرُهُمْ  فَهُمْ  لَا  يَسْمَعُونَ bashīran wa‑nadhīran fa‑aʿraḍa aktharuhum fa‑hum yasmaʿūna
Giving good news and admonition: yet most of them turn away, and so they hear not.

Surah 48 al-Fatḥ (The Victory)
(48:8)

إِنَّآ  أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ  شَٰهِدًا  وَمُبَشِّرًا  وَنَذِيرًا innā arsalnāka shāhidan wa‑mubashshiran wa‑nadhīran
We have truly sent thee as a witness, as a bringer of Glad Tidings, and as a Warner:
