Sura al-Anʿām 6:97

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلنُّجُومَ لِتَهْتَدُوا۟ بِهَا فِى ظُلُمَٰتِ ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْأَيَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

wa-huwa alladhī jaʿala lakumu l-nujūma li-tahtadū bihā fī ẓulumāti l-barri wa-l-baḥri qad faṣṣalnā l-ayāti li-qawmin yaʿlamūna

It is He Who maketh the stars (as beacons) for you, that ye may guide yourselves, with their help, through the dark spaces of land and sea: We detail Our signs for people who know.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:54

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُۥ حَثِيثًا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَٰتٍۭ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلْخَلْقُ وَٱلْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ ٱللَّـهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

inna rabbakumu allāhu alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa fī sittati ayyāmin thumma istawā ʿalā l-ʿarshi yughshī l-layla l-nahāra yaṭlubuhu ḥathīthan wa-l-shamsa wa-l-qamara wa-l-nujūma musakhkharātin bi-amrihi āla lahu l-khalqu wa-l-amru tabāraka allāhu rabbu l-ʿālamīna

Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!

Sura al-Naḥl 16:12

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ

wa-sakhkhara lakumu l-layla wa-l-nahāra wa-l-shamsa wa-l-qamara wa-l-nujūmu musakhkharātun bi-amrihi inna fī dhālika la-āyātin li-qawmin yaʿqilūna

He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:16

وَعَلَٰمَٰتٍ وَبِٱلنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

wa-ʿalāmātin wa-bil-najmi hum yahtadūna

And marks and sign-posts; and by the stars (men) guide themselves.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:18

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ وَٱلنُّجُومُ وَٱلْجِبَالُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ وَٱلدَّوَآبُّ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَكَثِيرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَمَن يُهِنِ ٱللَّـهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّكْرِمٍ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَآءُ

a-lam tara annā allāha yasjudu lahu man fī l-samāwāti wa-man fī l-arḍi wa-l-shamsu wa-l-qamaru wa-l-nujūmu wa-l-jibālu wa-l-shajaru wa-l-dawābbu wa-kathīrun mina l-nāsi wa-kathīrun ḥaqqa ʿalayhi l-ʿadhābu wa-man yuhini allāhu fa-mā lahu min mukrimin inna allāha yafʿalu mā yashāʾu

Seest thou not that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth,- the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a great number among mankind? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such as Allah shall disgrace,- None can raise to honour: for Allah carries out all that He wills.

Sura al-Mursalāt 77:8

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ

fa-idhā l-nujūmu ṭumisat

Then when the stars become dim;

Sura al-Takwīr 81:2

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ

wa-idhā l-nujūmu ankadarat

When the stars fall, losing their lustre;
