Sura al-Baqara 2:155

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

wa-la-nabluwannakum bi-shayʾin mina l-khawfi wa-l-jūʿi wa-naqṣin mina l-amwāli wa-l-anfusi wa-l-thamarāti wa-bashshiri l-ṣābirīna

Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,
