Sura al-Baqara 2:250

وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا۟ لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِۦ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

wa-lammā barazū li-jālūta wa-junūdihi qālū rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa-thabbit aqdāmanā wa-anṣurnā ʿalā l-qawmi l-kāfirīna

When they advanced to meet Goliath and his forces, they prayed: "Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm: Help us against those that reject faith."

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:147

وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِىٓ أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

wa-mā kāna qawlahum illā an qālū rabbanā aghfir la-nā dhunūbanā waisrāfanā fī amrinā wa-thabbit aqdāmanā wa-anṣurnā ʿalā l-qawmi l-kāfirīna

All that they said was: "Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything We may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith."

Sura al-Anfāl 8:11

إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ ٱلنُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِۦ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ ٱلْأَقْدَامَ

idh yughashshīkumu l-nuʿāsa amanatan minhu wa-yunazzilu ʿalaykum mina l-samāʾi māʾan li-yuṭahhirakum bihi wa-yudhhiba ʿankum rijza l-shayṭāni wa-li-yarbiṭa ʿalā qulūbikum wa-yuthabbita bihi l-aqdāma

Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith.

Sura Yūnus 10:2

أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ مُّبِينٌ

akāna lil-nāsi ʿajaban an awḥaynā ilā rajulin minhum an andhiri l-nāsa wa-bashshiri lladhīna āmanū annā lahum qadama ṣidqin ʿinda rabbihim qalā l-kāfirūna inna hādhā la-sāḥirun mubīnun

Is it a matter of wonderment to men that We have sent Our inspiration to a man from among themselves?- that he should warn mankind (of their danger), and give the good news to the Believers that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. (But) say the Unbelievers: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer!"

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:24

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ

wa-la-qad ʿalimnā l-mustaqdimīna minkum wa-la-qad ʿalimnā l-mustakhirīna

To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:94

وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَكُمْ دَخَلًۢا بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌۢ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلسُّوٓءَ بِمَا صَدَدتُّمْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

wa-lā tattakhidhū aymānakum dakhalan baynakum fatazilla qadamun baʿda thubūtihā wa-tadhūqū l-sūa bi-mā ṣadadttum ʿan sabīli allāhi wa-lakum ʿadhābun ʿaẓīmun

And take not your oaths, to practise deception between yourselves, with the result that someone's foot may slip after it was firmly planted, and ye may have to taste the evil (consequences) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allah, and a Mighty Wrath descend on you.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:76

أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ ٱلْأَقْدَمُونَ

antum wa-ābāukumu l-aqdamūna

"Ye and your fathers before you?-

Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:29

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَرِنَا ٱلَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ

wa-qāla lladhīna kafarū rabbanā arinā lladhayni aḍallānā mina l-jinni wa-l-insi najʿalhumā taḥta aqdāminā li-yakūnā mina l-asfalīna

And the Unbelievers will say: "Our Lord! Show us those, among Jinns and men, who misled us: We shall crush them beneath our feet, so that they become the vilest (before all)."

Sura Muḥammad 47:7

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تَنصُرُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū in tanṣurū allāha yanṣurkum wa-yuthabbit aqdāmakum

O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.

Sura al-Raḥmān 55:41

يُعْرَفُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ

yuʿrafu l-mujrimūna bi-sīmāhum fa-yukhadhu bil-nawāṣī wa-l-aqdāmi

(For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.
