Sura al-Baqara 2:173

إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةَ وَٱلدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ بِهِۦ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّـهِ فَمَنِ ٱضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلَا عَادٍ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

innamā ḥarrama ʿalaykumu l-maytata wa-l-dama wa-laḥma l-khinzīri wa-mā uhilla bihi li-ghayri allāhi fa-mani iḍṭurra ghayra bāghin wa-lā ʿādin fa-lā ithma ʿalayhi inna allāha ghafūrun raḥīmun

He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then is he guiltless. For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful.
