Sura al-Baqara 2:228

وَٱلْمُطَلَّقَٰتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلَٰثَةَ قُرُوٓءٍ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّـهُ فِىٓ أَرْحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤْمِنَّ بِٱللَّـهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْأَخِرِ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُوٓا۟ إِصْلَٰحًا وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَيْهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ وَٱللَّـهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

wa-l-muṭallaqātu yatarabbaṣna bi-anfusihinna thalāthata qurūʾin wa-lā yaḥillu la-hunna an yaktumna mā khalaqa allāhu fī arḥāmihinna in kunna yuʾminna billāhi wa-l-yawmi l-akhiri wabuʿūlatuhunna aḥaqqu bi-raddihinna fī dhālika in arādū iṣlāḥan wa-lahunna mithlu alladhī ʿalayhinna bil-maʿrūfi wa-lil-rijāli ʿalayhinna darajatun wallāhu ʿazīzun ḥakīmun

Divorced women shall wait concerning themselves for three monthly periods. Nor is it lawful for them to hide what Allah Hath created in their wombs, if they have faith in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have the better right to take them back in that period, if they wish for reconciliation. And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

Sura Yūnus 10:107

وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّـهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥٓ إِلَّا هُوَ وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلَا رَآدَّ لِفَضْلِهِۦ يُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

wa-in yamsaska allāhu bi-ḍurrin fa-lā kāshifa lahu illā huwa wa-in yuridka bi-khayrin fa-lā rādda lifaḍlihi yuṣību bihi man yashāʾu min ʿibādihi wa-huwa l-ghafūru l-raḥīmu

If Allah do touch thee with hurt, there is none can remove it but He: if He do design some benefit for thee, there is none can keep back His favour: He causeth it to reach whomsoever of His servants He pleaseth. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sura Hūd 11:76

يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ أَعْرِضْ عَنْ هَٰذَآ إِنَّهُۥ قَدْ جَآءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ وَإِنَّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِمْ عَذَابٌ غَيْرُ مَرْدُودٍ

yā-ibrāhīmu aʿriḍ ʿan hādhā innahu qad jāa amru rabbika wa-innahum ātīhim ʿadhābun ghayru mardūdin

O Abraham! Seek not this. The decree of thy Lord hath gone forth: for them there cometh a penalty that cannot be turned back!

Sura al-Raʿd 13:11

لَهُۥ مُعَقِّبَٰتٌ مِّنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ يَحْفَظُونَهُۥ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّـهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ وَإِذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّـهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوٓءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ مِن وَالٍ

lahu muʿaqqibātun min bayni yadayhi wa-min khalfihi yaḥfaẓūnahu min amri allāhi inna allāha lā yughayyiru mā biqawmin ḥattā yughayyirū mā bi-anfusihim wa-idhā arāda allāhu biqawmin sūʾan fa-lā maradda lahu wa-mā lahum min dūnihi min wālin

For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of Allah. Allah does not change a people's lot unless they change what is in their hearts. But when (once) Allah willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:71

وَٱللَّـهُ فَضَّلَ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِى ٱلرِّزْقِ فَمَا ٱلَّذِينَ فُضِّلُوا۟ بِرَآدِّى رِزْقِهِمْ عَلَىٰ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيهِ سَوَآءٌ أَفَبِنِعْمَةِ ٱللَّـهِ يَجْحَدُونَ

wallāhu faḍḍala baʿḍakum ʿalā baʿḍin fī l-rizqi fa-mā lladhīna fuḍḍilū bi-rāddī rizqihim ʿalā mā malakat aymānuhum fa-hum fīhi sawāʾun afabiniʿmati allāhi yajḥadūna

Allah has bestowed His gifts of sustenance more freely on some of you than on others: those more favoured are not going to throw back their gifts to those whom their right hands possess, so as to be equal in that respect. Will they then deny the favours of Allah?

Sura Maryam 19:76

وَيَزِيدُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱهْتَدَوْا۟ هُدًى وَٱلْبَٰقِيَٰتُ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًا وَخَيْرٌ مَّرَدًّا

wa-yazīdu allāhu lladhīna ihtadaw hudan wa-l-bāqiyātu l-ṣāliḥātu khayrun ʿinda rabbika thawāban wa-khayrun maraddan

"And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return."

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:40

بَلْ تَأْتِيهِم بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ

bal taʾtīhim baghtatan fa-tabhatuhum fa-lā yastaṭīʿūna raddahā wa-lā hum yunẓarūna

Nay, it may come to them all of a sudden and confound them: no power will they have then to avert it, nor will they (then) get respite.

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:7

وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِى وَلَا تَحْزَنِىٓ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

wa-awḥaynā ila ummi mūsā an arḍiʿīhi fa-idhā khifti ʿalayhi fa-alqīhi fī l-yammi wa-lā takhāfī wa-lā taḥzanī innā rāddūhu ilayki wa-jāʿilūhu mina l-mursalīna

So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our messengers."

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:85

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِى فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لَرَآدُّكَ إِلَىٰ مَعَادٍ قُل رَّبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَن جَآءَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَمَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

inna alladhī faraḍa ʿalayka l-qurʾāna la-rādduka ilā maʿādin qul rrabbī aʿlamu man jāa bil-hudā wa-man huwa fī ḍalālin mubīnin

Verily He Who ordained the Qur'an for thee, will bring thee back to the Place of Return. Say: "My Lord knows best who it is that brings true guidance, and who is in manifest error."

Sura al-Rūm 30:43

فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ ٱلْقَيِّمِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعُونَ

fa-aqim wajhaka lil-dīni l-qayyimi min qabli an yaʾtiya yawmun lā maradda lahu mina allāhi yawmaʾidhin yaṣṣaddaʿūna

But set thou thy face to the right Religion before there come from Allah the Day which there is no chance of averting: on that Day shall men be divided (in two).

Sura al-Ghāfir 40:43

لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَنِىٓ إِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُۥ دَعْوَةٌ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ مَرَدَّنَآ إِلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ هُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ

lā jarama annamā tadʿūnanī ilayhi laysa lahu daʿwatun fī l-dunyā wa-lā fī l-akhirati wa-anna maraddanā ilā allāhi wa-anna l-musrifīna hum aṣḥābu l-nāri

"Without doubt ye do call me to one who is not fit to be called to, whether in this world, or in the Hereafter; our return will be to Allah; and the Transgressors will be Companions of the Fire!

Sura al-Shūrā 42:44

وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّـهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن وَلِىٍّ مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَتَرَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَىٰ مَرَدٍّ مِّن سَبِيلٍ

wa-man yuḍlili allāhu fa-mā lahu min waliyyin min baʿdihi wa-tara l-ẓālimīna lammā raʾawu l-ʿadhāba yaqūlūna hal ilā maraddin min sabīlin

For any whom Allah leaves astray, there is no protector thereafter. And thou wilt see the Wrong-doers, when in sight of the Penalty, Say: "Is there any way (to effect) a return?"

Sura al-Shūrā 42:47

ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلْجَإٍ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٍ

istajībū li-rabbikum min qabli an yaʾtiya yawmun lā maradda lahu mina allāhi mā la-kum min maljaʾin yawmaʾidhin wa-mā la-kum min nakīrin

Hearken ye to your Lord, before there come a Day which there will be no putting back, because of (the Ordainment of) Allah! that Day there will be for you no place of refuge nor will there be for you any room for denial (of your sins)!

Sura al-Nāziʿāt 79:10

يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ

yaqūlūna a-innā la-mardūdūna fī l-ḥāfirati

They say (now): "What! shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state?
