Sura al-Baqara 2:127

وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ ٱلْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

wa-idh yarfaʿu ibrāhīmu l-qawāʿida mina l-bayti wa-ismāʿīlu rabbanā taqabbal minnā innaka anta l-samīʿu l-ʿalīmu

And remember Abraham and Isma'il raised the foundations of the House (With this prayer): "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us: For Thou art the All-Hearing, the All-knowing.

Sura al-Baqara 2:253

تِلْكَ ٱلرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ مِّنْهُم مَّن كَلَّمَ ٱللَّـهُ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجَٰتٍ وَءَاتَيْنَا عِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَيَّدْنَٰهُ بِرُوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ مَا ٱقْتَتَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ وَلَٰكِنِ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ ءَامَنَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن كَفَرَ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ مَا ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ

tilka l-rusulu faḍḍalnā baʿḍahum ʿalā baʿḍin minhum man kallama allāhu wa-rafaʿa baʿḍahum darajātin wa-ātaynā ʿīsā ibna maryama l-bayyināti wa-ayyadnāhu bi-rūḥi l-qudusi wa-law shāʾa allāhu mā qtatala lladhīna min baʿdihim min baʿdi mā jāʾathumu l-bayyinātu wa-lākini akhtalafū fa-minhum man āmana wa-minhum man kafara wa-law shāʾa allāhu mā iqtatalū wa-lākinna allāha yafʿalu mā yurīdu

Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:158

بَل رَّفَعَهُ ٱللَّـهُ إِلَيْهِ وَكَانَ ٱللَّـهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا

bal rafaʿahu allāhu ilayhi wa-kāna allāhu ʿazīzan ḥakīman

Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-

Sura al-Anʿām 6:165

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَٰٓئِفَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَٰتٍ لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِى مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌۢ

wa-huwa alladhī jaʿalakum khalāʾifa l-arḍi wa-rafaʿa baʿḍakum fawqa baʿḍin darajātin li-yabluwakum fī mā ātakum inna rabbaka sarīʿu l-ʿiqābi wa-innahu la-ghafūrun rraḥīmun

It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sura Yūsuf 12:100

وَرَفَعَ أَبَوَيْهِ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ وَخَرُّوا۟ لَهُۥ سُجَّدًا وَقَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ هَٰذَا تَأْوِيلُ رُءْيَٰىَ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَعَلَهَا رَبِّى حَقًّا وَقَدْ أَحْسَنَ بِىٓ إِذْ أَخْرَجَنِى مِنَ ٱلسِّجْنِ وَجَآءَ بِكُم مِّنَ ٱلْبَدْوِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ أَن نَّزَغَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَ إِخْوَتِىٓ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَطِيفٌ لِّمَا يَشَآءُ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

wa-rafaʿa abawayhi ʿalā l-ʿarshi wa-kharrū lahu sujjadan wa-qāla yā-abati hādhā taʾwīlu ruʾyāya min qablu qad jaʿalahā rabbī ḥaqqan wa-qad aḥsana bī idh akhrajanī mina l-sijni wa-jāʾa bikum mina l-badwi min baʿdi an nnazagha l-shayṭānu baynī wa-bayna ikhwatī inna rabbī laṭīfun li-mā yashāʾu innahu huwa l-ʿalīmu l-ḥakīmu

And he raised his parents high on the throne (of dignity), and they fell down in prostration, (all) before him. He said: "O my father! this is the fulfilment of my vision of old! Allah hath made it come true! He was indeed good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you (all here) out of the desert, (even) after Satan had sown enmity between me and my brothers. Verily my Lord understandeth best the mysteries of all that He planneth to do, for verily He is full of knowledge and wisdom.

Sura al-Raʿd 13:2

ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِى رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْأَيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ

allāhu alladhī rafaʿa l-samāwāti bi-ghayri ʿamadin tarawnahā thumma istawā ʿalā l-ʿarshi wa-sakhkhara l-shamsa wa-l-qamara kullun yajrī li-ajalin musamman yudabbiru l-amra yufaṣṣilu l-ayāti laʿallakum bi-liqāʾi rabbikum tūqinūna

Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; is firmly established on the throne (of authority); He has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law)! Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. He doth regulate all affairs, explaining the signs in detail, that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.

Sura al-Faṭīr 35:10

مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ ٱلْكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلْعَمَلُ ٱلصَّٰلِحُ يَرْفَعُهُۥ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَكْرُ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ

man kāna yurīdu l-ʿizzata fa-lillahi l-ʿizzatu jamīʿan ilayhi yaṣʿadu l-kalimu l-ṭayyibu wa-l-ʿamalu l-ṣāliḥu yarfaʿuhu wa-lladhīna yamkurūna l-sayyiʾāti lahum ʿadhābun shadīdun wa-makru ulāʾika huwa yabūru

If any do seek for glory and power,- to Allah belong all glory and power. To Him mount up (all) Words of Purity: It is He Who exalts each Deed of Righteousness. Those that lay Plots of Evil,- for them is a Penalty terrible; and the plotting of such will be void (of result).

Sura al-Ḥujurāt 49:2

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَرْفَعُوٓا۟ أَصْوَٰتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ ٱلنَّبِىِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا۟ لَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَن تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَٰلُكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū lā tarfaʿū aṣwātakum fawqa ṣawti l-nabiyyi wa-lā tajharū lahu bil-qawli kajahri baʿḍikum li-baʿḍin an taḥbaṭa aʿmālukum wa-antum lā tashʿurūna

O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not.

Sura al-Raḥmān 55:7

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَ

wa-l-samāʾa rafaʿahā wa-waḍaʿa l-mīzāna

And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice),

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:11

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمْ تَفَسَّحُوا۟ فِى ٱلْمَجَٰلِسِ فَٱفْسَحُوا۟ يَفْسَحِ ٱللَّـهُ لَكُمْ وَإِذَا قِيلَ ٱنشُزُوا۟ فَٱنشُزُوا۟ يَرْفَعِ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ دَرَجَٰتٍ وَٱللَّـهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū idhā qīla la-kum tafassaḥū fī l-majālisi fafsaḥū yafsaḥi allāhu la-kum wa-idhā qīla anshuzū fanshuzū yarfaʿi allāhu lladhīna āmanū minkum wa-lladhīna ūtū l-ʿilma darajātin wallāhu bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīrun

O ye who believe! When ye are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room: (ample) room will Allah provide for you. And when ye are told to rise up, rise up Allah will rise up, to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) Knowledge. And Allah is well-acquainted with all ye do.

Sura al-Nāziʿāt 79:28

رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا

rafaʿa samkahā fa-sawwāhā

On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection.
