Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:93

أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ بَيْتٌ مِّن زُخْرُفٍ أَوْ تَرْقَىٰ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَن نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّىٰ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَٰبًا نَّقْرَؤُهُۥ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّى هَلْ كُنتُ إِلَّا بَشَرًا رَّسُولًا

aw yakūna la-ka baytun min zukhrufin aw tarqa fī l-samāʾi wa-lan nuʾmina li-ruqiyyika ḥattā tunazzila ʿalaynā kitāban nnaqraʾuhu qul subḥāna rabbī hal kuntu illā basharan rrasūlan

"Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read." Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- a messenger?"

Sura Ṣād 38:10

أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَٰبِ

am lahum mulku l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-mā baynahumā fa-l-yartaqū fī l-asbābi

Or have they the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all between? If so, let them mount up with the ropes and means (to reach that end)!
