Sura al-Anʿām 6:90

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّـهُ فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ ٱقْتَدِهْ قُل لَّآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ

ulāʾika lladhīna hadā allāhu fa-bi-hudāhumu iqtadih qul lā asʾalukum ʿalayhi ajran in huwa illā dhikra lil-ʿālamīna

Those were the (prophets) who received Allah's guidance: Copy the guidance they received; Say: "No reward for this do I ask of you: This is no less than a message for the nations."

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:6

فَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

fa-la-nasʾalanna lladhīna ursila ilayhim wa-la-nasʾalanna l-mursalīna

Then shall we question those to whom Our message was sent and those by whom We sent it.

Sura Yūnus 10:72

فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ

fa-in tawallaytum fa-mā saaltukum min ajrin in ajriya illā ʿalā allāhi wa-umirtu an akūna mina l-muslimīna

"But if ye turn back, (consider): no reward have I asked of you: my reward is only due from Allah, and I have been commanded to be of those who submit to Allah's will (in Islam)."

Sura Hūd 11:29

وَيَٰقَوْمِ لَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَالًا إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُوا۟ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ

wa-yā-qawmi lā asʾalukum ʿalayhi mālan in ajriya illā ʿalā allāhi wa-mā anā bi-ṭāridi lladhīna āmanū innahum mulāqū rabbihim wa-lākinnī arākum qawman tajhalūna

"And O my people! I ask you for no wealth in return: my reward is from none but Allah: But I will not drive away (in contempt) those who believe: for verily they are to meet their Lord, and ye I see are the ignorant ones!

Sura Hūd 11:47

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْـَٔلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِى بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِى وَتَرْحَمْنِىٓ أَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

qalā rabbi innī aʿūdhu bika an asʾalaka mā laysa lī bihi ʿilmun wa-illā taghfir lī wa-tarḥamnī akun mina l-khāsirīna

Noah said: "O my Lord! I do seek refuge with Thee, lest I ask Thee for that of which I have no knowledge. And unless thou forgive me and have Mercy on me, I should indeed be lost!"

Sura Hūd 11:51

يَٰقَوْمِ لَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِىٓ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

yā-qawmi lā asʾalukum ʿalayhi ajran in ajriya illā ʿalā alladhī faṭaranī a-fa-lā taʿqilūna

"O my people! I ask of you no reward for this (Message). My reward is from none but Him who created me: Will ye not then understand?

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:92

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

fa-wa-rabbika la-nasʾalannahum ajmaʿīna

Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account,

Sura al-Kahf 18:76

قَالَ إِن سَأَلْتُكَ عَن شَىْءٍۭ بَعْدَهَا فَلَا تُصَٰحِبْنِى قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِن لَّدُنِّى عُذْرًا

qalā in saʾaltuka ʿan shayʾin baʿdahā fa-lā tuṣāḥibnī qad balaghta min lladunnī ʿudhran

(Moses) said: "If ever I ask thee about anything after this, keep me not in thy company: then wouldst thou have received (full) excuse from my side."

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:132

وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا لَا نَسْـَٔلُكَ رِزْقًا نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ وَٱلْعَٰقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ

wa-ʾmur ahlaka bil-ṣalāti wa-iṣṭabir ʿalayhā lā nasʾaluka rizqan nnaḥnu narzuquka wa-l-ʿāqibatu lil-taqwā

Enjoin prayer on thy people, and be constant therein. We ask thee not to provide sustenance: We provide it for thee. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for righteousness.

Sura al-Furqān 25:57

قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا

qul mā asʾalukum ʿalayhi min ajrin illā man shāʾa an yattakhidha ilā rabbihi sabīlan

Say: "No reward do I ask of you for it but this: that each one who will may take a (straight) Path to his Lord."

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:109

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

wa-mā asʾalukum ʿalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illā ʿalā rabbi l-ʿālamīna

"No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds:

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:127

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

wa-mā asʾalukum ʿalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illā ʿalā rabbi l-ʿālamīna

"No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:145

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

wa-mā asʾalukum ʿalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illā ʿalā rabbi l-ʿālamīna

"No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:164

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

wa-mā asʾalukum ʿalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illā ʿalā rabbi l-ʿālamīna

"No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:180

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

wa-mā asʾalukum ʿalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illā ʿalā rabbi l-ʿālamīna

"No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds.

Sura Sabaʾ 34:25

قُل لَّا تُسْـَٔلُونَ عَمَّآ أَجْرَمْنَا وَلَا نُسْـَٔلُ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ

qul lā tusʾalūna ʿammā ajramnā wa-lā nusʾalu ʿammā taʿmalūna

Say: "Ye shall not be questioned as to our sins, nor shall we be questioned as to what ye do."

Sura Sabaʾ 34:47

قُلْ مَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ فَهُوَ لَكُمْ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ

qul mā saaltukum min ajrin fa-huwa la-kum in ajriya illā ʿalā allāhi wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin shahīdun

Say: "No reward do I ask of you: it is (all) in your interest: my reward is only due from Allah: And He is witness to all things."

Sura Ṣād 38:86

قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ

qul mā asʾalukum ʿalayhi min ajrin wa-mā anā mina l-mutakallifīna

Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender.

Sura al-Shūrā 42:23

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يُبَشِّرُ ٱللَّـهُ عِبَادَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ قُل لَّآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ فِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُۥ فِيهَا حُسْنًا إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ

dhālika alladhī yubashshiru allāhu ʿibādahu lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti qul lā asʾalukum ʿalayhi ajran illā l-mawaddata fī l-qurbā wa-man yaqtarif ḥasanatan nazid lahu fīhā ḥusnan inna allāha ghafūrun shakūrun

That is (the Bounty) whereof Allah gives Glad Tidings to His Servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin." And if any one earns any good, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service).
