Sura al-Shūrā 42:6

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ

wa-lladhīna ittakhadhū min dūnihi awliyāʾa allāhu ḥafīẓun ʿalayhim wa-mā anta ʿalayhim bi-wakīlin

And those who take as protectors others besides Him,- Allah doth watch over them; and thou art not the disposer of their affairs.
