Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:44

ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَٰمَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

dhālika min anbāʾi l-ghaybi nūḥīhi ilayka wa-mā kunta ladayhim idh yulqūna aqlāmahum ayyuhum yakfulu maryama wa-mā kunta ladayhim idh yakhtaṣimūna

This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger!) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point).

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:19

هَٰذَانِ خَصْمَانِ ٱخْتَصَمُوا۟ فِى رَبِّهِمْ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِّن نَّارٍ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ ٱلْحَمِيمُ

hādhāni khaṣmāni ikhtaṣamū fī rabbihim fa-lladhīna kafarū quṭṭiʿaṭ lahum thiyābun min nnārin yuṣabbu min fawqi ruʾūsihimu l-ḥamīmu

These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord),- for them will be cut out a garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:96

قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ

qālū wa-hum fīhā yakhtaṣimūna

"They will say there in their mutual bickerings:

Sura al-Naml 27:45

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَٰلِحًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ فَإِذَا هُمْ فَرِيقَانِ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

wa-la-qad arsalnā ilā thamūda akhāhum ṣāliḥan ani iʿbudū allāha fa-idhā hum farīqāni yakhtaṣimūna

We sent (aforetime), to the Thamud, their brother Salih, saying, "Serve Allah": But behold, they became two factions quarrelling with each other.

Sura Yā Sin 36:49

مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ

mā yanẓurūna illā ṣayḥatan wāḥidatan takhudhuhum wa-hum yakhiṣṣimūna

They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves!

Sura Ṣād 38:69

مَا كَانَ لِىَ مِنْ عِلْمٍۭ بِٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰٓ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

mā kāna liya min ʿilmin bil-malaʾi l-aʿlā idh yakhtaṣimūna

"No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves.

Sura al-Zumar 39:31

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ

thumma innakum yawma l-qiyāmati ʿinda rabbikum takhtaṣimūna

In the end will ye (all), on the Day of Judgment, settle your disputes in the presence of your Lord.

Sura Qāf 50:28

قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ

qalā lā takhtaṣimū ladayya wa-qad qaddamtu ilaykum bil-waʿīdi

He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning.
