Surah 36 Yā Sin (Ya Sin)

(36:23)	ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ	a‑attakhidhu min dūnihi ālihatan in yuridni l‑raḥmānu bi‑ḍurrin lā tughni ʿannī shafāʿatuhum shayʾan wa‑lā yunqidhūni	"Shall I take (other) gods besides Him? If (Allah) Most Gracious should intend some adversity for me, of no use whatever will be their intercession for me, nor can they deliver me.
