Surah 39 al-Zumar (The Companies)

(39:50)    | قَدْ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ | qad qālahā lladhīna min qablihim fa‑mā aghnā ʿanhum mā kānū yaksibūna | Thus did the (generations) before them say! But all that they
did was of no profit to them.
