Surah 46 al-Aḥqāf (The Sandhills)

(46:27)	وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا مَا حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفْنَا ٱلْأَيَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ	wa‑la‑qad ahlaknā mā ḥawlakum mina l‑qurā wa‑ṣarrafnā l‑ayāti la‑ʿallahum yarjiʿūna	We destroyed aforetime populations round about you; and We have shown the Signs in various ways, that they may turn (to Us).
