Sura Muḥammad 47:18

فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً فَقَدْ جَآءَ أَشْرَاطُهَا فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمْ إِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرَىٰهُمْ

fa-hal yanẓurūna illā l-sāʿata an taʾtiyahum baghtatan fa-qad jāa ashrāṭuhā fa-annā lahum idhā jāʾathum dhikrāhum

Do they then only wait for the Hour,- that it should come on them of a sudden? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition?
