Surah 5 al-Māʾidah (The Table Spread)

(5:65)	وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُمْ جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ	wa‑law annā ahla l‑kitābi āmanū wa‑ittaqaw la‑kaffarnā ʿanhum sayyiʾātihim wa‑la‑adkhalnāhum jannāti l‑naʿīmi	If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss.
