Surah 66 al-Taḥrīm (The Prohibition)

(66:1)    | يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّـهُ لَكَ تَبْتَغِى مَرْضَاتَ أَزْوَٰجِكَ وَٱللَّـهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | yā‑ayyuhā l‑nabiyyu lima tuḥarrimu mā aḥalla allāhu la‑ka tabtaghī marḍāta azwājika wallāhu ghafūrun raḥīmun | O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has
made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is
Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Sura al-Taḥrīm 66:1 يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّـهُ لَكَ تَبْتَغِى مَرْضَاتَ أَزْوَٰجِكَ وَٱللَّـهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ yā-ayyuhā l-nabiyyu lima tuḥarrimu mā aḥalla allāhu la-ka tabtaghī marḍāta azwājika wallāhu ghafūrun raḥīmun O Prophet!
