Surah 77 al-Mursalāt (The Emissaries)

(77:27)	وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا	wa‑jaʿalnā fīhā rawāsiya shāmikhātin wa‑asqaynākum māan furātan	And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? Sura al-Mursalāt 77:27 وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا wa-jaʿalnā fīhā rawāsiya shāmikhātin wa-asqaynākum māan furātan And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)?
(77:28)	وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ	waylun yawmaʾidhin lil‑mukadhdhibīna	Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:28 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ waylun yawmaʾidhin lil-mukadhdhibīna Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
(77:29)	ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ	anṭaliqū ilā mā kuntum bihi tukadhdhibūna	(It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:29 ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ anṭaliqū ilā mā kuntum bihi tukadhdhibūna (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false!
(77:30)	ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍ	anṭaliqū ilā ẓillin dhī thalāthi shuʿabin	"Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, Sura al-Mursalāt 77:30 ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍ anṭaliqū ilā ẓillin dhī thalāthi shuʿabin "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns,
(77:31)	لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ	lā ẓalīlin wa‑lā yughnī mina l‑lahabi	"(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. Sura al-Mursalāt 77:31 لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ lā ẓalīlin wa-lā yughnī mina l-lahabi "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze.
(77:32)	إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ	innahā tarmī bishararin kal‑qaṣri	"Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, Sura al-Mursalāt 77:32 إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ innahā tarmī bishararin kal-qaṣri "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts,
(77:33)	كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ	ka‑annahu jimālatun ṣufrun	"As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." Sura al-Mursalāt 77:33 كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ ka-annahu jimālatun ṣufrun "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)."
(77:34)	وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ	waylun yawmaʾidhin lil‑mukadhdhibīna	Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:34 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ waylun yawmaʾidhin lil-mukadhdhibīna Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
(77:35)	هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ	hādhā yawmu lā yanṭiqūna	That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. Sura al-Mursalāt 77:35 هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ hādhā yawmu lā yanṭiqūna That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak.
(77:36)	وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ	wa‑lā yuʾdhanu lahum fa‑yaʿtadhirūna	Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. Sura al-Mursalāt 77:36 وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ wa-lā yuʾdhanu lahum fa-yaʿtadhirūna Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas.
(77:37)	وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ	waylun yawmaʾidhin lil‑mukadhdhibīna	Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:37 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ waylun yawmaʾidhin lil-mukadhdhibīna Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
