Surah 77 al-Mursalāt (The Emissaries)

(77:38)	هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ	hādhā yawmu l‑faṣli jamaʿnākum wa‑l‑awwalīna	That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:38 هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ hādhā yawmu l-faṣli jamaʿnākum wa-l-awwalīna That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)!
(77:39)	فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ	fa‑in kāna la‑kum kaydun fakīdūni	Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:39 فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ fa-in kāna la-kum kaydun fakīdūni Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me!
(77:40)	وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ	waylun yawmaʾidhin lil‑mukadhdhibīna	Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:40 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ waylun yawmaʾidhin lil-mukadhdhibīna Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
(77:41)	إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ	inna l‑muttaqīna fī ẓilālin wa‑ʿuyūnin	As to the Righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water). Sura al-Mursalāt 77:41 إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ inna l-muttaqīna fī ẓilālin wa-ʿuyūnin As to the Righteous, they shall be amidst (cool) shades and springs (of water).
(77:42)	وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ	wa‑fawākiha mimmā yashtahūna	And (they shall have) fruits,- all they desire. Sura al-Mursalāt 77:42 وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ wa-fawākiha mimmā yashtahūna And (they shall have) fruits,- all they desire.
(77:43)	كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ	kulū wa‑ishrabū hanīʾan bi‑mā kuntum taʿmalūna	"Eat ye and drink ye to your heart's content: for that ye worked (Righteousness). Sura al-Mursalāt 77:43 كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ kulū wa-ishrabū hanīʾan bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna "Eat ye and drink ye to your heart's content: for that ye worked (Righteousness).
(77:44)	إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ	innā ka‑dhālika najzī l‑muḥsinīna	Thus do We certainly reward the Doers of Good. Sura al-Mursalāt 77:44 إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ innā ka-dhālika najzī l-muḥsinīna Thus do We certainly reward the Doers of Good.
(77:45)	وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ	waylun yawmaʾidhin lil‑mukadhdhibīna	Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:45 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ waylun yawmaʾidhin lil-mukadhdhibīna Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
(77:46)	كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ	kulū wa‑tamattaʿū qalīlan innakum mujrimūna	(O ye unjust!) Eat ye and enjoy yourselves (but) a little while, for that ye are Sinners. Sura al-Mursalāt 77:46 كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ kulū wa-tamattaʿū qalīlan innakum mujrimūna (O ye unjust!) Eat ye and enjoy yourselves (but) a little while, for that ye are Sinners.
(77:47)	وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ	waylun yawmaʾidhin lil‑mukadhdhibīna	Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! Sura al-Mursalāt 77:47 وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ waylun yawmaʾidhin lil-mukadhdhibīna Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth!
(77:48)	وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ	wa‑idhā qīla lahumu irkaʿū lā yarkaʿūna	And when it is said to them, "Prostrate yourselves!" they do not so. Sura al-Mursalāt 77:48 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ wa-idhā qīla lahumu irkaʿū lā yarkaʿūna And when it is said to them, "Prostrate yourselves!" they do not so.
